My background
I joined Somnoware in 2021 and continued at ResMed after the acquisition. Working on production healthcare software has shaped how I think about maintainability, integrations, and clear engineering decisions.
BuildWithNY is my independent space for public projects and technical explanations. The work here uses independent examples and does not represent my employer.
What I’m building now
I’m starting AWS Permission Review: a tool to help engineers understand changes to IAM policy documents before merging them. The broader direction is a connected set of tools for small teams building on AWS.
How I approach the work
- Focused scope: define the problem and the supported behaviour before expanding.
- Explainable results: attach evidence to findings and make uncertainty visible.
- Reliable delivery: think through failures, recovery, and maintenance.
- Public proof: share code, tests, articles, and walkthroughs as the work develops.
My everyday stack
TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, React, SQL, and AWS. I choose the components around the problem and document the trade-offs.
